Personal life
Hamilton lives in Surrey. A keen skier and snowboarder, she also enjoys travelling and going to the theatre. She has visited many countries around the world including India, Cuba, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, Fiji, Iceland and parts of America. Hamilton has been developing properties since the age of 19 when she completed her first project which was entirely self-funded. It was announced on Twitter that Hamilton had given birth to a baby boy called Rocco on 13 November 2013. She announced the birth of her second child, a daughter named Tahlia, on 8 May 2015.
Early life and early career
Hamilton grew up in Dartford, Kent. She turned down an invitation to study law and psychology at university for a one-year deal as a runner for Dermot O'Leary after gaining A-Levels at Dartford Grammar School for Girls. After her time on channel 4, she departed and worked as an Assistant Floor Manager on shows including Top of the Pops, The Buckingham Palace Jubilee Celebrations, The Games, T4, Party in the Park, Robbie Williams at Knebworth and Big Brother. She went on to work as a 2nd/3rd Assistant Director on television shows such as Family Affairs, The Bill, and films starring Harry Potter and Stardust. She worked behind the camera for four years as an assistant before launching her on-screen debut.
She has also worked with production companies and broadcasters, including ITV, Channel 5, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Disney XD.
Television and film career
In the popular pre-school show Fun Song Factory for CITV, she appeared as 'Melody', her first exposure in front of the camera. On Fun Song Factory, she appeared alongside Aston Merrygold of JLS. She appeared in the films Dead Man's Cards in 2006 and Magicians in 2007. She was also the face of Citibank in Europe.
Hamilton was the female star of Nickelodeon's kids' TV show Nickheads, Slime Across the UK in 2006 and ME:TV (LIVE) for the channel. She has also presented the Nickelodeon UK Kids' Choice Awards in 2007, 2007, and Dannii Minogue in 2008.
Hamilton began hosting on GMTV's Toonattik in March 2008. She began her involvement in Endemol-produced The Bratz Design Academy in late 2008, where children learned to be fashion designers and style a dress for an awards ceremony.
