When Misalucha's family moved to the United States in 2004, she put her budding career in jeopardy to family concern.

Lani made history by heading to the United States after her fourth album, Loving You. Misalucha appeared in a main showroom of Las Vegas's Downtown Showroom, becoming the first Asian to headline the showband Society of Seven, a member of Hawaii's top showband Society of Seven at the Jubilee Theatre of Bally's Hotel and Casino. Her tenure at Bally's lasted for 15 months from August 7, 2004 to February 5, 2006, during which she and the Society of Seven then moved to the Flamingo's Main Showroom from August 6, 2008. Lani was quick to recognize her, applauding and quoting her as Las Vegas' New Diva. Asia's Nightingale sky-rocketed to international prominence as the new Siren of the Strip after her successful 15-month stint at the Bally's, a series of road trips, and subsequent bids to headline shows in the world's entertainment capital.

Vegas was more than content to have the Siren of the Strip back on its prime frontline by 2008. Lani was recently voted Vegas' Best Singer (staff pick) on the 27th Annual Best of Vegas Poll, with her name appearing alongside Celine Dion, who was voted as the reader's pick. Lani began Voices with Earl Turner at the Hilton in 2009, caping off her time at the Flamingo.

Lani made history by debuting as the first mainstream travel and lifestyle television show starring Las Vegas in October 2011. Lani's "It's Vegas" is one of the first three episodes of a new Sin City tour, containing restaurants, shops, destinations, and adventure tours for both local and international audiences. Lani's success in Las Vegas prompted City Mayor Oscar Goodman to name December 4 as Lani Misalucha Day, after Mayor Willie L. Brown, Jr., who had also named August 17 as Lani Misalucha Day for San Francisco.

Lani's artistry has come full circle. Lani's journey with music transcends every song, touching and sincere in its delivery of all the best of the best that has yet to come, from her serendipitous debut to her international recognition as an artist of international renown.

Lani returned to the recording studio in October 2006, doing covers of well-loved classics for a self-titled album, her fifth release. Lani returned home to regale her Filipino audience with songs and tales in a one-night performance at the Araneta Coliseum in 2007. Lani's rousing world-class talent, but also her dedication to the people who have come to love her music was reflected in the concert's appropriately named Missing You, which was a tribute not only to her but also to her dedication to the people who have come to love her music.

On Philippine television, Misalucha appeared a few times, beginning on February 17, 2007 in ABS's Sunday afternoon show "ASAP" (The Filipino Channel).
