Career
Sugawara began dancing when she was ten years old around 2002. She won numerous competitions including "Dance Attack" and "Shonen Chample" in her teens. She started Seisa Kokusai High School in March 2007, completing dance studies at VAW Eik High School concurrently. She went to Los Angeles to study dance after graduating from high school in March 2010. She began working with Nike as a dancer in 2013 and later appeared in Nike Athlete's ad campaign.
Sugawara served as both a choreographer and backup dancer after returning to Japan. She has been a back-up dancer for 2NE1, Koda Kumi, Exile, SMAP, Namie Amuro, Rihanna, and Daichi Miura.
