Kendji Girac (left with Eva Longoria and bottom right on The Voice), 27, was seriously injured last night and rushed to the Haut-Leveque hospital, where he was placed under armed guard at a secure medical unit in a non-life threatening condition, local media reports. He told first responders that he had accidentally shot himself while tinkering with a Colt 45 automatic pistol he had bought at a junk shop, according to another source. Police were called at about 5.30am local time to the site (top right) where Mr Girac was found conscious, lying outside his holiday caravan in the seaside town of Biscarrosse, claiming he 'shot himself'. However, cops are refusing to rule out any explanation and locked down the scene of the shooting throughout Monday morning, but reportedly left in the early afternoon. A source said that 'a domestic incident' was to blame for Mr Girac's injuries. The singer is reported to have been with the unidentified partner and his three-year-old daughter in the caravan when a shot was heard.
