During a reception for critically ill children, the royal (inset), 76, kicked off the holiday season in a fun way today, and every festive box was ticked, including the equerry's tradition. Major Ollie Plunket (pictured left) was given the annual challenge of adding to a Christmas tree by adding a decoration with the tip of his sword. During this year, Major Plunket received support from a sweet young guest named Yasir Ibrahim (pictured right in second photograph), four, who cheerfully assisted with the decoration's tip before releasing it on the tree. As the pair continued the tradition for another year, the guests applauded.
