On Thursday, New England Patriots receiver Kayshon Boutte was arrested in Louisiana for reportedly placing nearly 9,000 illegal sports bets while at LSU, including on Tigers games. Boutte turned himself into police in Baton Rouge on a misdemeanor conviction of gaming outlawed for people under the age of 21, as well as a criminal charge for computer theft. He posted a bond and was released right away. Boutte was a sixth-round pick of the Patriots in last year's NFL Draft and appeared in five games for the team this season.
