After her puppy, Arthur, was savaged by a suspected XL Bully in Sefton Park on July 25, Kate Jackson, 35, from Aigburth, Merseyside, was forced to pay out £1,700 in emergency vet bills. Ms Jackson, despite the fact that her Hungarian Vizsla required 17 stitches and several courses of antibiotics, is opposed to the proposed killer dog ban, stead arguing that owners should be responsible for their dog's behavior.
