Kate Bush's 1985 album Running Up That Hill debuted at number one on the charts last year, 37 years since its inception. Following its appearance in the fourth series of Netflix's supernatural thriller Stranger Things, the singer's 1985 album broke records and debuted at number one in the United Kingdom. The song, written by Bush from her iconic Hounds of Love album, soared to the top of the Australian charts and became number one on the iTunes charts in the United States.

On Friday night in Brooklyn, Kate Bush will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but she will not be in attendance. The 65-year-old British singer-songwriter, who is being honoured alongside late George Michael, also paid a visit to her followers to warn them of her impending absence.
