Kaiya Jones (born 19 March 1996), a Scottish-born Australian actress best known for her appearance in Neighbours' Australian soap opera Sophie Ramsay.

In the third season of The Saddle Club, she appeared as Jess Cooper.

Coping, Jones wrote and directed a short film that was screened at Tropfest in 2013.

She appeared on Party Tricks in 2014.

Early and personal life

Jones was born in Glasgow, Scotland, but her parents immigrated to Australia in 2005. Jones at Preshil received his education. Acting, writing screenplays and stories, as well as singing her own songs and playing the guitar are among her hobbies. Jones is also a sponsor of the Australian Orangutan Project, which raises funds to promote orangutan care and protection.

Career

Jones appeared in Jess Cooper's role at The Saddle Club from 2008 to 2009. In February 2009, it was announced that Jones had been cast as Sophie Ramsay in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. In the same month, Jones shot her first scenes with Neighbours. "Filming Neighbours is so much fun," Jones told Samantha Booth of the Daily Record. I just love my job and would not want to be doing anything else. The cast and crew are so generous and lovely. They are obviously my second family now. They're also very patient."

Jones would leave Neighbours on November 26, 2012, according to the newspaper. She made her screen exit the following year. In 2013, Jones appeared as Poppy in a Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries episode. During a short film called Coping, Jones wrote and directed three orphanage children who move in with their uncle. Coping was one of 16 films selected to screen at Tropfest on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Jones was named Best Female Actor at the festival. Jones was cast in Party Tricks, a miniseries.

Jolly Roger, Jones wrote and directed a short film that was on display at the St Kilda Film Festival on May 22, 2017.
