Is the Premier League suffering from a heroin problem?

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 29, 2023
EDMUND WILLISON: A Mail on Sunday investigation has revealed that Premier League footballers are virtually never tested for the banned performance-enhancing drug testosterone. And top-flight actors can be subjected to even the most basic drug test as often as once a season. An FA spokesperson told this publication that "doping in English football is extremely unusual," but that we are unable to reveal any detailed statistics about how many tests for particular chemicals are actually conducted each season. Rather, the FA told the MoS to request samples from Britain's drug busters, the UK Anti-Doping Agency. And, the United Kingdom AD refused to publish any detailed doping test results, and in the process, the Freedom of Information Act was broken.
