Police have confirmed one man has been charged following an incident after Leeds' 0-0 Championship Play-off semi-final draw with Norwich City, with another individual bailed.  The stalemate between the two Championship sides on Sunday afternoon was marred by a violent incident after the game, with a Leeds United supporter slashed with a blade (left).  The fan was understood to have been slashed in the neck area behind the Barclay Stand with claims he'd confronted a group who were taunting the travelling section about two Leeds supporters killed before a European game against Galatasaray 24 years ago. 

Two people are said to have been arrested after a Leeds United fan was reportedly slashed following the club's draw with Norwich at Carrow Road.  Reports shared on social media claimed a violent incident involving a blade had taken place following the full-time whistle in the play-off semi-final first leg. According to The Sun two people have been taken into police custody, though it is not clear if the arrests are related to the incident.

JOE BERNSTEIN AT CARROW ROAD: Leeds United took an encouraging first step to ending their play-off curse but manager Daniel Farke was still raging after being denied an all-important goal by an offside flag. The Yorkshire giants have been unsuccessful in all five of their previous play-off campaigns but will now be favourites to reach Wembley with the second leg to come at Elland Road on Thursday. However, in a noon snooze of few scoring opportunities Leeds felt robbed that Junior Firpo's goal after half-an-hour was ruled out for offside given against Georgino Rutter.

Leeds beat Bristol City 2-0 at Ashton Gate, with Willy Gnonto's goal being the deciding factor. During the first half, chances were few and far between, with the best falling to Crycensio Summerville, who was sent through one against the keeper and then slotting straight at Max O'Leary. The breakthrough came just after the halftime break when Junior Firpo played a strong ball forward and slamming it in into Gnonto.

Djed Spence, a left-back for Leicester City, and Tottenham Hotspur's Djed Spence have all inquired about loan terms. Following last season's demobilization, Farke is now without Jack Harrison, Junior Firpo, Cody Drameh, Tyler Adams, Stuart Dallas, and Sam Greenwood.

Despite being relegated with Leeds in his first season in the English top flight, Willy Gnonto is attracting Premier League and Serie A interest. 19, a 19-year-old forward who came from Zurich and made 24 appearances, scoring twice. However, the teen's performances were not enough to prevent the Yorkshire club from being relegated to the Championship on the last day of the English season after losing 4-1 at Elland Road to Tottenham Hotspur.

After being left furious by Wolves' humiliating loss to fellow relegation candidates Leeds, Julen Loegui is running out of patience with Premier League referees. During his time at the club, the Wolves' manager believes that his team has consistently been on the wrong end of refereeing calls. Wolves coach Edu Rubio and club secretary Matt Wilder requested an audience with referee Michael Salisbury following the game.

The Blues had only scored once in their previous six games going into the match against Javi Gracia's side, but Wesley Fofana's goal eight minutes after the restart ensured the tension was lifted a little. Stamford Bridge demonstrated more warmth to Potter and his team than in recent times. Leeds, meanwhile, was further thrown into disarray due to the fact that the team was ranked 17th, just one point behind Everton in 18th.

Southampton boss Ruben Selles tried to turn up the heat off 21-year-old goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu after his mistake gave Leeds a crucial win at Elland Road. With a weak shot that squeezed past the Irish national who has been mocked by Saints fans this season, junior Firpo scored the only goal after 77 minutes. Selles, who was only given the manager's position on a permanent basis last week, argued that the supporters should hold him accountable rather than the player.

Javi Gracia, Leeds' manager, referred to his team's 1-0 home win over Southampton in his first game as'something truly special.' Leeds' winless run in the Premier League ended, but junior Firpo's second-half strike pulled them out of the top three. After being named as Jesse March's permanent replacement on Tuesday, former Watford, Malaga, and Valencia chief Gracia was ecstatic with his winning start.

Southampton, the only team below them at the start of play, had a not very subtle strategy to ruin the game with players going down "injured," delaying goal-kicks to tie bootlaces, and even going out late for the second half. The visitors suddenly felt a new sense of urgency after Junior Firpo broke deadlock after 77 minutes, smashing goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu despite losing power.

During his TV interview after Leeds' 3-1 FA Cup victory on Saturday, Leeds striker Patrick Bamford saw the funny side in being called a 'w*****' by Accrington Stanley supporters repeatedly. In the first half, Bamford recorded two assists, setting up Jack Harrison in the first half and delivering a superb piece of skill to lift Junior Firpo after the break. Jesse Marsch, Leeds' director (and former MLS coach) Jesse Marsch is 'driving' the possibility, with Benfica interested as well. According to MLSsoccer.com, Marsch, a former member of the New York Red Bulls, is close friends with Union coach Jim Curtin, and the pair have discussed Leeds' interest in Wagner. Curtin said, 'I've had discussions with Jesse.' Obviously, he's on their radar,' there's no doubt about that.' There are other notable left backs in the world, but there are some other outstanding left backs. So, it's a special window in that it doesn't really close until September for them.'
