In the hunt for missing Lucy Charles, a body was discovered. The body of a woman discovered in the River Dee during a search carried out by local officers and the North West Underwater Search Team, according to North Wales Police. Formal identification is yet to take place, but Ms Charles' family has been notified. According to Chief Inspector Stephen Roberts, her family was being helped by specialist officers.

Lucy Charles, 39, (pictured left and right) has been missing from Bangor-on-Dee, near Wrexham, for nearly two weeks. After recovering some of her personal possessions on the banks of the River Dee, which is now almost double its depth from just a few weeks ago, police announced yesterday that they are becoming 'increasingly worried about the safety'. It has now been discovered that Ms Charles slipped into the River Dee mistakenly on December 22 and was swept to her death.
