Marlon is distraught when he learns that his pal is planning to leave the Dales after getting out of the Woolpack, and the pair express their appreciation for each other in a touching conversation. Liam is kindly accepted as Paddy's move, and it's clear that all of his family are eager to help him.

Paddy Kirk's mental stability will hit a new low on Emmerdale next week as he returns to the village after going missing for weeks. After sleeping with his ex Mandy and struggling to cope with his cheating wife Chas' separation, Paddy disappeared from his house and went out of his way to avoid being discovered by his loved ones. A dishevelled Paddy is back to the village after being in a guest house, to the delight of his close friend Marlon, and the exile of estranged wife Chas, who was in upcoming scenes.

On Tuesday, Emmerdale viewers were left feeling sick after Bear Wolf alluded to his night of passion with Carol with a X-rated remark. The former wrestler enjoyed a double date with Carol, son Paddy Dingle, and Bev's daughter Bev the night before, but the two ladies and their mother Bev all went out dancing alone, although downhearted Paddy stayed at home. Bear told his son Paddy that his evening with Carol ended with a tumultuous turn after their evening dancing, saying he 'danced her brains out'.
