Texts that referred to black people as circus monkeys and gorillas in a Northern California police officer revealed by an FBI probe into more than a dozen police officers in one municipality revealed. According to documents obtained by investigators, 17 officers in Antioch sent or received racial messages, including threats against the city's own mayor, Lamar Thorpe, who is black, among other things. During a protest today, antioch officer John Ramirez wrote in a text in June 2020: 'I'll buy someone a prime rib dinner at House of prim ribs to 40 that mfr [motherf****r, directed to Thorpe].' Someone is slang for using a handgun with a 40-millimeter launcher that fires a less lethal bullet at a person. Other texts included in the study included racist memes, assurances that they will arrest people for "driving while black" and making up claims, as well as general threats. Sgt. Police Sgt.'s text from April 2020 reads in a single text. 'I'll bury the [N-word] in my fields,' Josh Evans told Officer Morteza Amiri.' 'And yes, it was a difficult R on purpose,' he wrote in a second text.' The texts were 'racially offensive,' according to Antioch Police Chief Steven Ford, who is also black, while Thorpe erupted last week after calling out one community member who appeared to oppose their messages.

Anthony Albanese's meeting with Shaquille O'Neal was 'cringeworthy' and "patronizing,' according to Radio 2GB host Ben Fordham. In a press conference in Sydney on Saturday, the former NBA star was supposed to speak out in favour of the Indigenous Voice to Parliament, but instead she mumbled a few words about God and loving Australia. Aboriginal politicians have sluggishly branded the step, which is supposed to increase support for the Voice of young Australians.

Witness on party boat where Texas student was pushed to death by lover reveals tragic last moments

Carly Martin, a former Texas college student, was on board when 19-year-old Jack Elliot was reportedly pushed away by Delaney Brennan while the two were kissing and flirting. Carly was standing between the driver and the passenger seat when she suddenly felt motion under her feet. "Oh, my gosh, what did we miss," she yelled. Moments later, Carly heard Delaney scream, 'I didn't mean to push him!' Carly recalled the tragic event after the teens were dipped in and out of the water in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com. Delaney, who she was flirting with, had pushed Jack, according to her, and it's 'astonish' that they followed the tale for as long as they did. Five Texas college students are now facing felony charges after Jack's death, more than three years after being found to be tampering with evidence and spreading incorrect information about the boat party. Delaney was charged with tampering with evidence by aiding in the deletion of a cellphone video. She could face up to ten years in prison as well as a $10,000 fine.

Delaney Brennan and Jack Elliott, both students at Texas Christian University, posed together before Delaney reportedly pushed him to his death while out on a lake in 2019. Delaney shared the picture less than a month after Jack died. Delaney, 21, later confessed to putting her husband's initials on her wrist to remind her 'how much he loved life.' She has since been charged with tampering with evidence by aiding in the deletion of a cellphone video. She could face up to ten years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Jack's bereaving family discovered there was more to the tale than what the teenagers admitted and demanded to know by launching a wrongful death lawsuit in 2020.
