Decorating the tree, hanging the wreath on the door, and pinning up the stockings are all magical parts of Christmas. However, these decs could be concealing some health issues, as well as some that are difficult to detect, according to hygiene experts. According to Jordan Harvey, managing director of Crawley-based cleaning firm Hashtag Clean, a real tree will raise mould spores in the air, which can irritate the eyes and skin, lead to coughs or a blocked nose. They may also be carrying rodents or disease-spreading rodents (shown in graphic). In the meantime, decorations in the attic may be containing sneezing, coughing, and, in extreme cases, asthma attacks.
