The lawsuit revolves around an Albanian man who was arrested in the United Kingdom and charged with heroin trafficking involving approximately 5 kilograms of cocaine and laundering over £330,000. After the accused had returned to Germany, the Westminster Magistrates Court issued an Interpol red notice, which was a worldwide arrest warrant. However, the German court ruled that since it did not receive promises that the criminal would be kept under safe circumstances on his return to the United Kingdom, it dismissed his demand for his extradition and granted him his freedom.
