Matt Rempe, a New York Rangers enforcer, has been suspended for FOUR games after elbowing Devils defender Jonas Siegenthaler... and his first suspension came just ten games into his NHL career

Matt Rempe, the New York Rangers enforcer, has been suspended four games by the NHL after elbowing New Jersey Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler in the chest during Monday's game. Rempe's first suspension came 10 games into his NHL career, but he made his big-league debut last month against the New York Islanders in an outdoor game. The maximum suspension he could have received would have been five games if Rempe's Department of Player Safety did not have an in-person meeting.

With 30 seconds. The 21-year-old center was fined a five-minute major penalty and game misconduct for elbowing Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler while remaining in the second period of Monday night's game. Afterward, Rampe, a fan favorite since his birth on Feb. 18, was confronted by Kurtis MacDermid of New Jersey, but police kept them separate. Rempe has two ejections in his career, despite only playing ten games.

Devils fan launches HEADBUTT at rival Rangers supporter before trading blows and getting ejected by security while pleading: 'I didn't start s***!'

The Rangers-Devils game in Newark on Thursday ignited a fiery crowd, where one New Jersey fan was seen headbutting a Blue Shirt supporter before being arrested. The incident occurred in the first period, with the first-place Rangers leading by 2-0 en route to a 5-1 win. The Devils fan wearing a Jack Hughes' No. 10 has died. In one of Prudential Center's lower sections, an 86 jersey man is seen arguing with another man wearing a winter jacket along a stairway. With the game raging, two more fans join the fray in an attempt to maintain the peace. Then, as someone off screen yells 'beat his a**,' the Devils fan launched a headbutt over the stairway railing; and although the connection is unclear, the Rangers fan did eventually fall backwards under a flurry of punches.
