On Wednesday at a news conference at Kauffman Stadium, team owner John Sherman announced it. Sherman didn't hire Moore but retained him after acquiring the club from senior businessman David Glass in 2019. Sherman said Wednesday, 'The bottom line here is that it's time to change.' 'There's a little bit of where we are and where we should be right now.'
