The NBA has rejected TNT Sports' bid to match Amazon's media rights deal with the league, which has now officially announced its $77 billion TV deal with the streaming service, ESPN and NBC. The deal is an 11-year pact, and likely means that TNT Sports is entering its final year as an NBA broadcast partner. TNT Sports had matched Amazon's $1.8 billion offer this week, but the NBA is rejecting that bid, which could result in a legal battle between the network and the league, according to The Athletic.

Lindsay Lohan's latest film, "Falling For Christmas," has taken over Netflix Christmas movies, and it has a lot of festive carols, as in every great holiday movie. And, yes, Lohan does actually sing in the film, giving an outstanding interpretation of the classic "Jingle Bell Rock."
Lohan assumed the job of reporting the event — and returning to the screen — with a serious agenda. In an 8-Nov. interview, she told Entertainment Tonight, "It was fun, but I was trepid." "I was [nervous] because I hadn't recorded in a long time and felt the pressure to do it in a way that people who had seen 'Mean Girls' would like it the same," she continued, referring to the scene in the 2004 film in which Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried accompanied the singer and dance along to the song in a school talent competition.

The decision came out of a 43-year-old's dissatisfaction with the number of meaty film roles, including gay ones that had gone to straight actors in the past. 'It's not about saying that a straight actor should never play gay,' he told Variety. We still need a more equal playing field,' but we do need a more balanced playing field.' It's about repairing a very bad situation.'
