John Bennett Ramsey Career

In 1989, Ramsey formed the Advanced Product Group, one of three companies that merged to become Access Graphics. He became president and chief executive officer of Access Graphics, a computer services company and a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin.

Ramsey, along with his wife Patsy and young son Burke, moved back to Atlanta shortly thereafter. Access Graphics was later sold to General Electric in 1997.

In 2015, Ramsey told Barbara Walters in an interview that the death of JonBenét and the ensuing investigation and cost of the case had drained his finances. He also claims that because of the notoriety of the case he now finds it very difficult to find work.

The sprawling Colorado home where 6-year-old beauty pageant contestant JonBenet Ramsey was murdered in 1996 is up for auction for $7 million. The Ramsey family, who bought the Boulder, Colorado, mansion in 1991 for $500,000, never spent another night there after their daughter was discovered dead in the house's basement. They finally sold in 1998 to a group of investors, who eventually sold the company in 1998. Tim and Carol Milner are the current owners of Hour of Power - Carol Milner is the niece of Hour of Power televangelist Robert H. Schuller's daughter. In 2004, they paid less than $1 million for it. JonBenet was killed on Dec. 26, 1996, bruised and strangled, but her mother called 911 to announce that her daughter was missing and that a ransom note had been left behind. Her death was declared a murder but no one was ever charged.
