Eric Cantu Sr and Victoria Casarez requested that former San Antonio Police Officer James Brennand, 25, be charged with attempted murder for their 17-year-old son's death, Erik Cantu Jr, inset, arguing that the shooting was motivated by ethnicity. When Cantu Jr was consuming McDonald's in his car, the cop fired ten shots at him. He was later arrested on October 11 on two counts of aggravated assault by a public servant, but he was released on a $200,000 bond the next day. Meanwhile, Cantu is in critical condition at a local hospital and is set to have surgery on Wednesday.
