Residents of a swanky Manhattan apartment building where rents have increased to $8,000 a month have been left 'terrified' after a string of robberies, including one in which a resident discovered an underwear clad stranger in her bed (right). The Sky Towers building in Midtown has been attacked at least 14 times in between March and June, according to the NYPD. Two individuals suspected of five of the robbery has been detained, but cops are still looking for burglars involved in the nine other incidents. There have been no incidents in the last month, according to a spokesperson for The Moinian Group, which owns the building.
