Mara, 68, is furious at his NFL teammates for bringing forward a theory that will not only affect fan attendance at games, but also coaches and players in their recovery and readiness for big matchups. 'I am adamantly opposed to doing that,' Mara told The New York Post. 'Flexible scheduling,' as it is, is highly inconsiderate to our season-ticket holders and the fans who crowd our stadiums every week.' Just because they like it does not mean they like it. We can be flexed to Monday night this year, which I think is extremely inconsiderate to our ticket holders. To me, it's just cruel, and I am adamantly opposed to it.'

Brian Daboll's crew has had a fairytale year so far, with seven of their 17 regular-season fixtures and seemingly being in the early stages of a rebuild. Despite delivering the Vikings packing, Mara - who has been in charge of the Giants for the last 18 years - insists the franchise is back in business after winning their first post-season victory since 2011.
