EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: John Lennon's son Julian to sell his £22 million 18th-century home in the south of France

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 11, 2024
EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Described perhaps inevitably, but correctly, as 'a classic', it's pretty close to perfection. That's not so much because of the discreet studio, where a white grand piano takes pride of place, but because of the captivating, white-shuttered 18th-century house which looks out, across a terrace arrayed with statues, to the Mediterranean - and which is even blessed with its own chapel, carved into the hillside above. But though it may be a dream South of France property, I can reveal that Julian Lennon has decided to walk away from it - albeit for £22 million.

The gruesome family heirloom was worth a staggering five-figure sum, according to an Antiques Roadshow visitor. The repeat episode of Sefton Park in Liverpool on Sunday unearthed some shocking antiques, including a collection of items that had previously belonged to an executed Earl. Following the Battle of Worcester, James Stanley, the 7th Earl of Derby, came to a tragic conclusion. Despite the fact that the collection of items relating to the Earl's tragic conclusion was expected to be worth between £18,000 and £22,000, the owner believed selling the items would be a "travesty."

Hill, the band's hometown city, was given a fascinating run on the artwork by its owner, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Starr, who signed their first album contract.

Graham Blake's left arm armour, as left armour goes, is a fairly normal limb, clad today in his stationmaster dark pullover, with the sleeves of his blue shirt peeking out from underneath the cuff. However, Harry Styles followers - Harries as they are known - is a thing of beauty, in the same vein as John Lennon's signature glasses or Elton John's signature rings. This arm, as you can see, has touched - yes, touched - the great floppy-haired frontman of One Direction himself. We have followers from around the world, including places I've never heard of.' They want to touch Harry Styles' arm, so they can claim to have kissed him.' 'They ask all sorts of daft questions, like "What does Harry smell like?"' Jimmy is embarking on a stand-up tour for the next few weeks. He expects to be able to complete two hours every night. I hope so anyway.' We'll see. I don't feel 84 years old. I'm 40 years old. Age 40 is a good thing. Sophia Loren is 40,' I'm guessing.' Jimmy hasn't toured since pre-Covid days. Pauline, who was in the Cavern Club in Liverpool when they were 17, says he supports his return to the stage. I suspect she's sick of him sitting at home, dreaming of Sophia, and screaming at the new generation of comics who have taken over televisions.
