The video, which was released by the Hong Kong Education Bureau ahead of China's National Day on October 1, has sparked smears online. More than 400 schoolchildren were invited to participate in the five-minute long advertisement titled "Young China Says" that showcases them in a variety of artistic pursuits, from singing to martial arts. The video shows two schoolgirls with cumbersome double face masks with a gap for the mouth and a separate flap protecting their flutes at the 45th anniversary.
