The prospect of spending your weekends in a complete television series may not be as appealing as it did a few weeks ago. However, we have yet to reach pub-garden weather, so a few nights in with the box may be on your schedule for the remainder of March. However, there are plenty of high quality shows available on all streaming platforms right now, so this is not something to be concerned about. Finding the right show to press play on can be a daunting challenge, so MailOnline has compiled a list of the seven most bingeable series to watch this weekend. These shows will have you glued to your couch and often hitting the 'continue watching' button on your monitor, from the gory Disney+ blockbuster Shogun to the BBC's thrilling gangster thriller Kin.

How Slow Horses went from a book nobody read to Britain's favourite new spy show with a theme by Mick Jagger and an author dubbed the new John Le Carre (who admits he'd be an 'awful spy')

People are already raving over Slow Horses, Apple TV+'s third season has been released to rave reviews. It's been aided by an outstanding performance from a Hollywood A-lister, a British rising star, and an author named the successor to John Le Carre. One more thing - Mick Jagger is a huge fan of the books - all it needed was a Zoom meeting in Covid where he wrote and performed the theme tune. However, although critics have lauded Slow Horses' source material, the book itself comes close to being a flop.

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: At £45 million public school Sherborne, students' alleged cocaine and prostitute scandals

www.dailymail.co.uk, July 6, 2023
EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Sherborne, one of the few remaining all-male public schools, prides itself on offering a 'rich and varied range of experiences' for students. Chris Martin, Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons, writer John Le Carre, and Hugh Bonneville of Downton Abbey have all been pupils. However, I can tell you that the experiences of some of the new generation of Shirburnians aren't rich or varied enough for some of the students, but not for a particular group that recently went on a trip overseas.

Was Our Man In Washington involved in a 'SEX FOR SCOOPS' affair with a glamorous TV journalist?

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 3, 2023
No fewer than 14 officers from the Metropolitan Police's counter-terrorism squad slip through the front door of Schomberg House, a nondescript red brick block of flats on a quiet side street in central Westminster, before dawn on October 13, 2020. They crept up the stairs in silence, dressed in bulletproof vests and clutching a variety of weapons before arriving outside Flat 20, a two-bedroom rental house that is reportedly occupied by two thirtysomething professionals. A battered ram screams outside the door at 5.50 a.m., and all hell breaks loose. 'I recall being awakened by a violent accident,' one of the occupants said later. People were bursting into the house and screaming.' .. . We were being burgled,' I thought.'

TOM LEONARD: Griner's safe, but the Merchant of Death is free

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 8, 2022
LEONARD: "I used to speak to Brittney Griner a few years ago." She's safe, she's on her way home, and she's on a plane.' Mr Biden delivered a triumphant White House address today, in which Ms Griner's wife Cherelle joined him. However, the offer comes at a high price. Mr Biden said nothing about America's bargain, and in fact, left the room as a journalist repeatedly demanded to tell him what Russia had obtained out of the deal. The tense Tajikistan businessman and suspected Soviet spy dubbed the'merchant of death' sparked untold confusion and despair around the globe, particularly in Afghanistan and Africa, where his arms were allegedly used to murder American and British troops. He was serving a 25-year sentence for plotting to sell tens of millions of dollars in weapons, which were supposed to be used against Americans, according to US officials. The mere thought of his freedom had enraged anti-arms trafficking activists and those interested in his capture, who had hoped he would return to the violent industry. Michael Braun, the ex-DEA chief who planned Bout's capture, has said that releasing him would not be a'slap in the face' to those who risked their lives to bring him down. Everyone in the spook world knows there is no such thing as a "former" Russian intelligence officer, despite the fact that the Kremlin put forth the necessary efforts to free Bout, it's unlikely that Putin, who is facing an arms supply crisis in Ukraine, would not have troubling proposals for him right now.
