Peter Manfredonia, 26, a University of Connecticut undergraduate, has been sentenced to 55 years in jail for killing two people and abducting in a violent murder that sparked a six-day manhunt. On Wednesday, Peter Manfredonia, 26, a former high school classmate, and Shannon Spies' kidnapping were found in Milford, Connecticut. Manfredonia was reportedly sent distressing messages about'snapping' like Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza. Before being arrested, the former college student led a multi-state manhunt in four states, including Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. In February, he pled guilty to the charges. In a Samurai sword attack in Willington, Connecticut, the terrified Connecticut college student had killed another man, Theodored 'Ted' DeMers, 62, and critically wounded an 80-year-old man, who lost several fingers and part of his ear. On Thursday, he was sentenced to prison for those offences. Spies testified in the courtroom that the 'pletion agreement does nothing...except close the door,' and she wished her testimony would have 'haunts' Manfredonia for 'the remainder of his life.'
