After being chastised for opposing an anti-Israel motion, Peter Block, a retired Barnet teacher, branded the National Education Union (NEU) a'hostile environment' for Jews. Following the union's annual conference in Bournemouth on Thursday, members of the NEU agreed to blame Israel for the Gaza war and publish "educational information" about the conflict. The motion also called on the NEU to 'increase knowledge of Palestine and Israel' and reaffirm its support for the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC).

Since pleaded guilty to fraud charges connected to an art bribery in 2018, Brian Walshe, 47, (left) was on house arrest. He had been fitted with the device, which lets probation know when he was gone home, but not where he was going. Ana has been missing for a year after vanishing on New Year's Day when she reportedly left her house at 6 a.m. to catch a flight, which she never did. The 39-year-old real estate executive's quest continues, with experts in location monitoring bracelets confirming that it is not unusual for the devices to not have GPS and instead use radio waves. Walshe's bracelet only uses a radio wave that warns authorities that he has left home, but does not reveal where he went.
