A book was returned to the California library after being borrowed from nearly 100 years ago. The book, 'A History of the United States' by Benson Lossing, was returned to the St Helena Public Library in California, 96 years after it had been scheduled in February 1927. While browsing through a stack of books that had belonged to his late wife, Sandra Learned Perry, Jim Perry stumbled upon the book. When Perry, a native of Napa, discovered the box of books, he was decluttering and deleting used items from his house.
