The Carolina Hurricanes beat the Washington Capitals 4-1 on Saturday night in their first NHL Stadium Series outdoor game. Martin Necas had a goal and two assists. Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Paul Stastny, and Teuvo Teravainen all scored for Carolina, which won a three-game season sweep of their Metropolitan Division opponents.
