Jeremy Rowley (born June 12, 1978) is an American character actor and comedian.
He is best known for his role on Lewbert's Nickelodeon television series iCarly.
Personal life
Rowley is married to Danielle Morrow, who appeared on iCarly as Nora Dershlit in the films "iPsycho" and "iStill Psycho," as well as the 2014 Sam & Cat episode "#SuperPsycho." They have a son and a daughter together.
Career
Rowley has appeared in a variety of television shows and movies, often portraying somewhat "ballistic" characters, especially on television shows. On the Nickelodeon television show iCarly, Rowley (as Lewbert) is a mean and cynical doorman for Carly's apartment building who may or may not strangle and eat dogs. "Messin With Lewbert" is Carly and Sam's web show where the two girls perform pranks on Lewbert downstairs in the lobby. Lewbert is known for his ferocious outbursts, as seen on the program. (i.e. He just mopped when people are walking all over the floor.
Rowley has appeared on The Amanda Show, most notably on the sketch "Blockblister" (a parody of video retailer Blockbuster), where he plays a customer who is furious because he did not get the movie he wanted (he paid for the DVD by tearing off his arm and handing it to them and screaming "Keep the change"). He yells at loud outbursts in the scene once more. On the podcast Comedy Bang! He is known as Ming. Bang!
Rowley is a member of the Groundlings, an improvisational and sketch comedy group based in Los Angeles, California. He also appeared on Bunsen Is a Beast, the Nickelodeon animated film Bunsen Is a Beast, for which he received an Annie Award nomination.
Rowley appeared in Bless the Harts in 2019, where he portrayed Jimmy Lee and Mayor Webb, with the latter role being recast in later episodes to Jon Hamm.
