Jennie Lynn Finch (born September 3, 1980) is an American, former Olympic and medalist athlete who served as a right-handed hitting softball pitcher and first baseman from La Mirada, California, and has retired as a retired 2-time pro All-Star, right-handed hitting softball pitcher and first baseman.
She appeared for the Arizona Wildcats, the USA national softball team, and the Chicago Bandits.
Finch was a member of the 2001 Women's College World Series and aided Team USA in winning the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and the silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Early life and education
Jennie was born in La Mirada, California. Shane and Landon Finch are the two older brothers in Finch's family. They were all born in California. She began playing softball at the age of five and started pitching at age 8. Her father was her first pitching coach. Growing up, Finch was a bat girl for the University of California, Los Angeles. Finch lettered four times in softball and twice each in basketball and volleyball at La Mirada High School. She was the captain of all three sports as a senior. She was an All-California Interscholastic Federation Division II pick in softball and All-Suburban League selection as a sophomore. La Mirada retired her jersey number in 2016, marking the school's first for a softball player.
Personal life
On January 15, 2005, Finch married Casy Daigle. Daigle, the University of Arizona's alma mater, has been inspired to Finch on the softball field.
