On Saturday, Lillian Frank, mother Jackie Frank, posted a note on Instagram about the death of her beloved mother. Many Australian celebrities, including Dannii Minogue, Melissa Doyle, Alex Perry, Nadia Bartel, and Patti Newton, have expressed their condolences.

Lillian Frank, 92, was a giant of Melbourne's social scene, best known for her hairdressing salon in Toorak, her volunteer work, and her love of a party. Ms Frank's daughter, magazine publisher Jackie, reported the death on Friday night.
