Jason Hart Career

College career

He attended Syracuse University in New York from 1996 to 2000, where he became the first freshman in the Big East Conference's history to lead it in minutes played. Later on, he earned other accolades as an NCAA player, including being the all-time leader in stealings and second place among assist leaders. Hart, a senior, spent time on the Big East's All-First Team. He was also selected to the Syracuse All-Centure Basketball team.

NBA career

In the 2000–01 season, Hart joined the Milwaukee Bucks, but he only saw action in one game, scoring two points.

He was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs in December and played in ten games starting in 2001-02 in the newly formed NBDL with Asheville Altitude. He played in the Greek A1 League with Makedonikos BC from 2002-03, and the Spurs recalled him in 2003-04, where he averaged 3.3 points in 53 games.

Hart was signed by the Bobcats as a free agent before the 2004-05 season, and he was the first steal in Bobcats history in their first game. Hart made a three-point shot as time expired to send the game against the Washington Wizards into a second overtime en route to 19 points in a 128-126 losing bid in their second preseason game.

Hart set career records in several categories, including points per game (9.5), assists per game (5.0), and rebounds per game (2.7). With 3.6 assists for every turnover, he came in third place in the league in assist-to-turnover ratios. Hart was traded to the Sacramento Kings after the season.

Hart was waived by the Kings on March 2, 2007. The Los Angeles Clippers had him signed just a few days later. Hart signed with the Utah Jazz on July 13, 2007. He began serving as the back-up to Deron Williams, but an injury forced him to miss eight games. Ronnie Price's good play during that period almost kicked him out of the rotation.

Hart was traded back to the Clippers in exchange for Brevin Knight on July 23, 2008.

The Clippers waived Hart on February 27, 2009.

Hart was drafted by the Nuggets for the remainder of the season on March 3, 2009.

Hart signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves on September 28, 2009. On December 29, 2009, he was traded to the Phoenix Suns for Alando Tucker and cash. He was waived by the Suns right away. Hart signed the New Orleans Hornets on February 5, 2010. In a 93-85 victory over the Boston Celtics in Hart's last NBA game was on February 10th, 2010. Hart had two assists and one rebound in his last game.

Coaching career

Hart coached AAU basketball in Los Angeles and served as head coach at Taft High School in Los Angeles after his playing career came to an end. Hart was hired as an assistant coach at Pepperdine on May 12, 2012, under head coach Marty Wilson. Andy Enfield joined the University of Southern California's staff in 2013. In 2021, he was appointed head coach of the NBA G League Ignite, a youth development team for players coming out of high school that plays against other teams in the NBA G League.

HORSE POWER: Jason Hart and Clifford Lee of Paris spent 21 hours on the job... AND, Frankel's half-brother is about to dazzle on debut

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 4, 2023
DMINIC KINGDOM ON THE WORLD OF RACING: When Jason Hart and Clifford Lee set off from North Yorkshire to Manchester Airport, it was just Sunday morning. They were booked on the 5.55am Air France flight to Paris, and the only thing that separated them from their fellow passengers was that Lee's saddle was resting on his carry-on luggage. They waited patiently to get through the gruesome, hour-long passport inspection line like the rest of us.
