Following the signing of veteran cornerback Jared Mayden from the New York Jets practice squad on Thursday, the Buffalo Bills announced that they had signed safety Jared Mayden from the New York Jets practice squad. Buffalo's decision to add another safety comes as a result of safety Damar Hamlin's cardiac arrest during Monday night's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Mayden has also played with the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles, who drafted six tackles in four games in 2021.
