After sluggish classics books, one of the county's top private schools (right) has redesigned its English curriculum because they are "too pale, male, and stale." Alleyn's School in Dulwich, south London, has produced two outstanding Macbeth, Lord of the Flies, and To Kill a Mockingbird.
