Allroads Pty Ltd: Tradies took a walk off the job after the builder's $200 million demise as a second company has more debt problems

Allroads Pty Ltd (right) was ordered into liquidation by the Queensland Supreme Court last Thursday. The company was specialized in civil construction, with $200 million invested in major road and defence projects in Brisbane, Townsville, and the Gold Coast. The company owes $24.5 million to 721 creditors, according to an investigation by the administrators. In the meantime, three building companies connected to national building company Rork Group (left) also collapsed earlier this month, owing to a nearly $30 million debt to creditors.

Multiple landlords have reported losing tenants who are tired of going to work due to fears of being attacked by drug-using homeless people and criminals. In the last two years, Denver's crime has risen, with car break-ins up from 2020 to 2022, as well as homicide on a rise.
