It's been more than a decade since James Cameron launched "Avatar" in 2009. The enthralling film known for its pioneering digital effects and artistic genius would continue to be the world's highest-grossing film of all time. It starred Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, the plegic Marine and hero who was sent to Mars, eventually becoming part of the local Na'Vi blue-skinned humanoid tribe. He falls in love with Neytiri (played by Zoe Salda), the daughter of the Omaticaya's leaders. The original Avatar was not only the first film to earn more than $2 billion, it was the first film to reach the box office for seven weeks in a row. It has also played a vital role in Salda's career, which includes other hugely popular movie franchises like "Star Trek" and "Guardians of the Galaxy." Cameron's sequel "Avatar: The Way of Water" opens in theatres on December 16, with Salda returning as Neytiri reaffirming her leading role in Hollywood.

The world premiere of Avatar 2 in London was the biggest showbusiness event of the week this week, but no one would have recognized the young British actor who is at the center of the film. And, Jamie Flatters has insisted that he's happy to stay anonymous after starring in Avatar: The Way Of Water, telling me: 'I didn't go into this for the attention!' At the age of 16, the 22-year-old was auditioning for director James Cameron to play Neteyam, the eldest son of Jake (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana).
