Are YOU a workaholic? Here are the tell-tale signs that you could be

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 10, 2024
For those of us who are working 'out of hours,' the pill is becoming a big issue. If you're isolating yourself and your family members or neglecting basic self-care, it might be time to ask yourself if you're a 'workaholic'. MailOnline examines the common signs that you are addicted to your job as Sherwood screenwriter James Graham talked about attending 'Workaholics Anonymous' for his 'addiction.'

James Graham of the BBC claims he attended 'Workaholics Anonymous' for 'addiction,' although he insists it isn't treated as carefully as opioids and booze

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 10, 2024
The 41-year-old said he first admitted to having a problem when he discovered himself lying to loved ones about'stupid stuff that did not even need to be worried about,', including when time had to wake up in the morning to start functioning. If a friend or family member told him he was tired and asked what time he had awakened, he would say, 'Oh, you know, eight' when it was actually 5 a.m. He also stated that he would go without food for a whole day. Graham, who has written hits involving Dear England, Ink, and Labour of Love, was diagnosed with the drug more than a decade ago. 'You hear the word [workaholic] a lot [as though] it's a habit that you have, not a disease," Graham said on BBC's Desert Island Discs. "But it is... no way different from [addictions] alcohol, or some other thing.' It's a pattern of behaviour that's gradually killing you. People related to it, and some people were dissatisfied with it.'

I need a wife to look after my pigs. Nothing has changed from a 19th-century lonely hearts to a nuptial blessing of the bride's buttocks, and an entertaining tale of passion over the millennia that has shown that nothing has changed

www.dailymail.co.uk, October 26, 2023
Edward Brooke-Hitching's delightful book is a collection of the curiosities, absurdities, and downright filth that can arise when two (or more) human beings are attracted to each other. On London's Pall Mall, James Graham's 18th-century 'Temple of Health' was a facility provided by the 'celestial bed,' for example. The bed was moderately upgraded, and for £50 (no mean sum back then), it could have been hired by couples trying to conceive.

James Graham plans to reexamine Ingrams' convictions, pledging the prosecution in the first half and the defense in the second. By voting at the end, the audience determines the outcome. Nonetheless, the whole episode is also regarded as a bit of parody.

Need a place to host your party?Well be my guest! ALEXANDRA SHULMAN, the former Vogue boss, is quoted as the reason for the confusion

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 25, 2023
ALEXANDRA SHULMAN: People who are either visitors or hosts are divided in life. Guests love someone else arranging everything and then participating in activities planned for them, while others are dissatisfied with being on someone else's timetable or in their space. I am, by nature, a visitor. I love going to other people's parties and not knowing who will be there. Or staying in their homes and having their schedule managed by them. Despite being the best of them in several regions, I am relieved to leave the catering to someone else.

In James Graham's latest film, Dear England, Fiennes, 53, plays the England football manager. According to Graham, the drama will explore football's 'gentle revolution' under Southgate. It's unfortunate that the last act will not see the England team win anything, but it will be a lot jollier than James Norton's torture-marathon at London's Harold Pinter Theatre. Dear England runs until 11 August; tickets from £20, nationalthea
