Jake Allen, a boy from Telford, Shropshire, was killed instantly in the horror crash when he was ejected from a modified 4X4 while on a family day out. A coroner heard how the Land Rover Discovery, steered by Simon's father's son, stalled as it tried to negotiate a steep climb. It then rolled backwards, hit a tree stump, and spun around four times. Mr Allen wept as he told Worcestershire Coroner's Court how he watched his son die on weekend off-roading at Coney Green Farm 4X4 Offroad Site in Stourport-on-Severn. He and his partner, Tuesday Hawkes, daughter and her older sister, Jake's sister, were staying at Coney Green Farm.
