The house that was robbed: Kenneth Noye, the street rage killer who gained his violent fame and predicted that an undercover cop would be stabbed has now sold for £2.5 million

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 14, 2024
Kenneth Noye, the road rage killer who killed an undercover policeman, has finally sold for less than it last changed hands for in 2006. Noye's Mock-Tudor mansion was constructed by Noye from the ill-gotten gains from his time in jail and was originally called Hollywood Cottage. Noye also used it to hide some of the £26 million robbed gold bullions robbed from the Brink's-Mat robbery in November 1983, which ended in eight years in jail. It has now sold for closer to £2.5 million - less than the £2.8 million it last went for in May 2006, with the estate agent confirming that it would make a 'lovely home.' The 8,500 sq ft home in West Kingsdown, Kent, was the epicentre of Noye's life of crime. It features a swimming pool, sauna, and steam room, six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a self-contained apartment above a triple garage. Inset: Stephen Cameron, who was stabbed to death by Noye.

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 22, 2024

In the Apple+ drama, which also stars Gary Oldman, the Scottish actor, 33, plays disgraced spy River Cartwright. Jack said he was trained in spying by intelligence consultants who shared certain industry trade secrets to him. 'My favorite thing that they revealed was their reliance on our industry for their recruiting,' Jack told The Sunday Times.' Jack, who is dating Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, said it was 'full' to learn that the intelligence agencies were 'full of people bitching about a corner office rather than a cubicle, or why don't they get sexier jobs.'

Kenneth Noye's role as a "grace killer" on the BBC has been axed from his second series of BBC bullion drama The Gold is a fictionalisation of a road rage killer

www.dailymail.co.uk, January 14, 2024
Kenneth Noye from the BBC's second series of The Gold - its hit drama about the 1983 Brink's-Mat robbery. Following outrage that the first series glorified the violent killer, the decision was made. Noye - who went on to murder a 21-year-old boy in a road rage attack 13 years after the robbery - has come under fire for being a 'handsome class warrior.' Jack Lowden, a Scottish heart-throb actor, earned rave reviews for his appearance.

Mayfair Witches review: You'll recognise the Devil by his mullet - it's the hairdo from Hell!writes CHRISTOPHER STEVENS

www.dailymail.co.uk, December 7, 2023
The devil has a sinful hairstyle, according to CHRISTOPHER STEVENS. Satan slicked his locks with Brylcreem in early Hollywood horror films. Lucifer is now a mullet, but she does not appear in this film. The hairdo from Hell falls short at the front, swept back across the neck. In the gothic American romantic drama Mayfair Witches, we can tell that the Dark Lord with the Bon Jovi appearance is a demon, not a vampire. (BBC2) He can float into young women's boudoirs uninvited, which was always a problem for Dracula. And if he's there, he appears in the mirror. The classic crucifixes and garlic defenses aren't going to keep him at bay, as shown by the above. Deirdre (Cameron Inman) wants to fend him off, she'll need something more drastic. I like scissors and an electric razor. Beelzebub will be sent packing if you give him a buzz. Of course, Deirdre does not want to send him packing. In a gloomy New Orleans mansion, she was carried up by sadistic nuns. The devil is the devil's perfect boyfriend.

Looking for the hottest Hollywood couple since Brad and Angelina?Try on top of a Munro (or a VERY unstarry pub in Glasgow)

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 3, 2023
Jack Lowden and Saoirse Ronan took a holiday to Perthshire in August. Not for this Hollywood couple's glistening white sands of the Maldives or a five-star retreat in Mexico. Rather, the pair spent a quiet week Munro bagging, despite their celebrity: 29-year-old Ronan has earned four Oscar nominations, while Scottish actor Lowden, 33, has recently emerged as a favourite to play the new James Bond.

They fell in love with the portrayal of Mary Queen of Scots and the conceitful Lord Darnley (right). But Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden will be hoping that life does not imitate art as the couple stepped out, with the actress wearing an engagement ring (bottom inset). Ms Ronan, 29, and her actor partner, 33, all set out with their terrier Fran, a £2.5 million home in Islington, north London. Lowden's cheek was then planted with a big kiss (top inset). Harley Quinn, Naomi Lapaglia, Tonya Harding, and several other characters appeared before Margot Robbie as "Barbie." Robbie is unquestionable, and although facing the role of a legendary children's toy isn't on her resume, it's clear she was delighted she took a chance on the role. Robbie talked to Vogue a month before the role's highly awaited July 2023 debut of "Barbie" was released, explaining how playing the role never even crossed her mind. "I never wanted to play Barbie, or was afraid of being Barbie, or something like that," she said. The villa, which is perched on a hill overlooking stunning Atlanterra beach in south-west Spain's quiet village of Zahara de los Atunes, is now available for rent on local estate agent-run Spanish websites. However, there was no sign of it on Airbnb on Tuesday, where Noye's uncle Brett had branded himself as the host.

Kenneth Noye, the Brink's murderer, rents out his £1.7 million Spanish villa where he hid after a brutal murder

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 12, 2023
Kenneth Noye, 75 (inset) bought the villa on the Costa de la Luz for £250,000 and died on the highway in 1996 after stabbed Stephen Cameron, 21, to death on the M25. Following the 1983 Brinks'-Mat robbery, the biggest heist in British history, the former convict helped to launder £26 million in gold bullion, which has now been chronicled in BBC series The Gold. He was recently described as more of a cheeky chappie than a cold-blooded killer, and he was portrayed as more of a 'over the moon' in the film. Brett, the career criminal, promoted the property overlooking a stunning golden sand beach off the shore of Barbate, where he was arrested at a restaurant after a two-year manhunt. Noye, who spent 21 years in prison for Stephen's murder, also has the house up for auction for £1.7 million. In the peak season months of July and August, the villa, perched on a hill overlooking stunning Atlanterra beach close to the quiet village of Zahara de los Atunes, is showing up as unavailable. Tourists can spend more than $2,600 for a week beginning in October. Noye arranged for the majority of the in gold bars looted in the infamous Brink's-Mat robbery to be melted down and sold in the 1980s.

River Cartwright, an eager MI5 agent who works in Slow Horses, throws caution to the wind. And it seems that Jack Lowden would know his character's disregard for danger. When cycling in north London, the actor was seen without a helmet and using his phone.

Why must the BBC portray sociopathic Brink's-mat gangsters as nothing more than rogues?

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 1, 2023
CHRISTOPHER STEVENS (Chester, a bloke), as my colleague Mervyn Hancock, was a big bloke in every sense - big, loud, 6ft 3in, and obliviously good-humoured. However, this heroic man was left red-faced and shaken after an encounter with John 'Goldfinger' Palmer, now a central figure in BBC1's crime drama The Goldfinger' Palmer. We learned that Palmer was running a timeshare scam in the early 1990s, when I was working at Bristol's morning paper, ripping off thousands of holidaymakers.

Soairse Ronan, a gold star, and Jack Lowden spend £2.5 million on a new London love nest

Jack Lowden and his even more popular partner Saoirse Ronan have a fortune to boast about and have just spent £2.5 million on a new house in Islington's upmarket North London enclave. They bought the three-bedroom Victorian end-of-terrace house after the actress fell in love with the area when performing Lady Macbeth at the nearby Almeida Theatre. Lowden, 32, has been praised for his portrayal of Kenneth Noye, the criminal, in The Gold, and he also appeared in the famous Apple TV+ spy drama Slow Horses alongside Gary Oldman. Ms Ronan, 28, has been widely recognized as one of the world's top screen actresses, with four Oscar nominations for her role in films including Atonement and Little Women.

When he got out, did the Brink's-Mat robber who was left in a 16-year prison term?

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 22, 2023
Michael Relton, a 50-year-old Surrey solicitor, was sentenced to 12 years in jail for his part in laundering and re-investing the proceeds of the huge £26 million Brink's-Mat bullion theft robbery on July 7, 1988. It seemed as he was led down the Old Bailey steps to the cells that it looked like a watershed. The machinations of this complicated case had occupied a substantial portion of my professional life as a crime reporter for nearly five years. The robbers, the chief handler, and now the crooked money men had been taken to court. Or so it seemed, the Relton trial had brought at least some degree of closure. In reality, the tale was far from over. This was just the start of the program, to Churchill.

The Brink's-Mat robbery: The home where the gang melted gold is up for rent is up for rent

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 22, 2023
Exclusive : In a secluded hamlet near Bath, looking at the Georgian pile nestled into the countryside, there are no hints that it has been underworld. However, it is also where John 'Goldfinger' Palmer, who was killed in an unsolved gangland murder in 2015, smelted bars of gold bullion stolen from a warehouse in one of Britain's biggest ever crimes. And although it has been extensively updated since, it is undeniably the house where he and wife Marnie (inset) were photographed after Palmer was barred from participating in the robbery in 1987. The Grade II-listed former coach house, according to the estate agent's website, is available to rent from April 2023. Now it can be rented for £5,000 per month.
