According to the team, the 'Pride Party on the Plaza' would include 'Vancouver-based musicians Mx.Bukuru, Carrie Oki Doki, Xanax, and Jerrilynn Spears, while the team will sport Pride themed warmup jerseys created by a local artist.' In a press release, Michael Doyle, president of Canucks Sports & Entertainment, said, 'The opportunity to commemorate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community is very important to our whole organization.'
