How the Hole in the Wall, which was once PUB, was used on Sloane Square's subway platform

The daily commute to and from work is a chore that must be endured by the majority of us. However, Londoners could ease the strain of travel on the Tube by stopping for a pint at Sloane Square Station's tiny pub. The new episode of The Secrets of the London Underground, which airs tonight, tells how The Hole in the Wall served punters on the westbound platform. Many who ran the pub had a friendly cat named Kim, who obligingly welcomed drinkers back in the 1930s (left and right). People in London who just wanted a drink and did not have to worry about getting to a train could simply buy a platform ticket to enjoy what was on offer.
