When it first appeared in the mid-1940s, it was the brand that pioneered food storage. But Tupperware is also on the verge of collapse after nearly 77 years in business. Tupperware revealed on Friday that it has'substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern' in the face of a cash crunch and creditors' pressure. With the recent bleakness, it's almost impossible to believe that the brand sparked a cultural phenomenon in the 20th century with its popular 'Tupperware parties.' What's more, the brand had a fan in the late Queen (inset) who was expected to use their products everyday.
