Jan-Hkan "Ian" Haugland (born in Nordreisa, Norway), is the drummer of Sweden's national rock band Europe.
He and his family immigrated to Märsta, Sweden, when he was eight months old.
He joined Europe in the summer of 1984, replacing Tony Reno.
Haugland had performed in a variety of bands, including Trilogy, where Candlemass bassist Leif Edling performed, and Rising Force by Yngwie J. Malmsteen. Haugland formed and performed with bands including Brazen Abbot, Clockwise, Last Autumn's Dream, Europe colleague John Norum, and former Black Sabbath / Deep Purple vocalist Glenn Hughes after Europe went on hiatus in 1992.
For the Ozzy Osbourne tribute album Ozzified, Haugland produced a cover version of the Black Sabbath song "Changes."
