Bernard Cornwell's novel The Winter King has been translated for the small screen and is set to be published on MGM+ on Sunday. The fantasy book, which was first published in 1995, is the first in the Warlord Chronicles trilogy and tells the tale of how Arthur became a warlord in Dark Age Britain amid illegitimacy to the throne.
