Young Sheldon is coming to an end after seven years on air, but the cast and crew were overall in a celebratory spirit as they closed out their show at a recent wrap party.  Young Sheldon co-showrunner and executive produce Steve Holland dished on details from the party during an interview with People, revealing how numerous guests were in an 'upbeat celebratory mode' following a period of emotional goodbyes.  'I think people were ready to have a good time,' he recalled.

CBS has released the first photos from the highly-anticipated Young Sheldon series finale, featuring Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik. Parsons, 51, and Bialik, 48, were confirmed to return as Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory back in March. Parsons has served as both the narrator of the series, starring Iain Armitage as the title character, and the executive producer since it debuted in September 2017.

Just one day after announcing that Young Sheldon's seventh season will premiere on Thursday, February 15, CBS has confirmed the show will end after that run. On Thursday, May 16, the Big Bang Theory spin-off, starring Iain Armitage as young genius Sheldon Cooper, played by Jim Parsons in CBS' The Big Bang Theory, will air in its one-hour series finale. The upcoming season is the last of a three-season revival for CBS' sitcom back in 2021.

In the snapshot, the 14-year-old Big Little Lies alum flashed a megawatt smile and teamed it with a long caption.
