Howard Nemerov (1920-July 5, 1991) was an American poet.
He served as Poetry Consultant to the Library of Congress from 1963 to 1964, and then again from 1988 to 1990.
Howard Nemerov (1977) received the National Book Award for Poetry,Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, and Bollingen Prize for his collection of poems.
