Hiro Yamamoto (born April 13, 1961) was a founding member of the grunge band Soundgarden, alongside Kim Thayil and Chris Cornell in 1984.
He left the band in 1989 and formed Truly, alongside Screaming Trees drummer Mark Pickerel and Robert Roth from The Storybook Krooks two years later.
With drummer Mike Bajuk and guitarist Pat Wickline, Yamamoto formed Stereo Donkey in 2016.
