Career
Hedegaard was born in Randers and began his career by remixing songs for Danish nightclubs and posting them on YouTube. "The Next Episode" starred his unofficial remix of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dres, making Hedegaard well-known throughout Europe. The song has been watched more than 100 million times on YouTube. He has also remixed 50 Cent, Macklemore, Basto, Ludacris, Stromae, Ed Sheeran, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Rihanna.
Hedegaard started making original tracks in 2012, and with the introduction of “Happy Home” in 2014, his career expanded from nightclubs to major festivals and festivals, including Distortion, Skanderborg Festival, Surf & Love Festival (SE) and ABC Beach Party. In addition, he began booking outside of Denmark in several Scandinavian and European countries.
Lukas Graham Forchhammer appeared on "Happy Home" in 2014. The song was featured on Danish radio station P3 and was on many other radio stations in a rotation. It was the most popular on streaming and sale for several weeks in Danmark and now has more than 38 million streams in total (July 2017). The song "Senkveld med Thomas og Harald," [9] on Norwegian television, and was designated 3rd platinum on streaming in Norway. Later this year, Hedegaard starring Brandon Beal and Christopher appeared on "Twerk It Like Miley." The song has more than 56 million streams on Spotify and 158 million views on YouTube, and it has risen to the top in a handful of Asian countries. "Twerk It Like Miley" received three awards at the Danish DeeJay Awards in 2015, platinum in the Philippines, and gold in Indonesia, Taiwan, and Thailand.
The single "That's Me" was released in 2017 and has since gained 20 million views on Spotify. Hayley Warner, an Australian singer and songwriter, performs the album, and they wrote the single "Go Back" in LA in the spring of 2017.
Hedegaard received the award for "Producer of the Year" at Club Awards as well as the "Audience Award" at Danish DeeJay Awards in 2016. He received the award for best Danish remix of the year at the Danish DeeJay Awards 2017 for the remix of 'Slem Igen.'
